Virtual Tours – 360° Panoramic Photography
Virtual tour photography has become a popular visual medium among architects, hotels, lodges, guesthouses, accommodation facilities, retail shopping centres and real estate brokers to name a few. It is a fantastic way to bring a wider picture to a viewer. Still photography and virtual tours are two separate mediums and for good reason. The idea is not for virtual tours to replace still photography but rather to compliment it. This way a viewer can see a 360° panoramic view of a specific area.
For example in the real estate world the buyer can view the virtual tour and get a better idea of the property and its layout. Individual areas can be done but the best way is to show the flow of one area into another. Perhaps the dining room and kitchen areas are situated next to one another. With a normal still photograph the area could seem cramped and the actual size of the room can be misleading, making some rooms appear smaller than they actually are. Therefore with careful placement the two areas can be shown how they function together. Still photographs will then cater for other creative angles and perhaps some close ups for more detail.
Our virtual tour photography service is perfect for the hospitality and accommodation industry as guesthouses, hotels, lodges and resorts can now be viewed by visitors to get a better idea of what they can expect once they arrive. Virtual tours are not only aimed for the web but can also be used in “off line” presentations. We make use of modern Flash technology which means small file sizes which can be emailed or stored on a flash drive.

Lodge – Resort Photography
There is an ever increasing awareness among business owners that professional photography forms a crucial part of their strategy to enhance the image of their brand.
Creative photographs not only grab a viewers attention but also create a lasting impression in their mind.
It is then fair to say that a business with excellent photographs will receive more attention from potential clients than a business with ordinary photographs.
A business that pays attention to detail and maintain a high standard of marketing material is more likely to flourish in this competitive business environment that we find ourselves in.
We have seen a vast increase in the tourism industry here in South Africa. International tourists travel here to experience the African bush on an open vehicle game drive,
get pampered at a luxurious health and beauty spa and soak up the sun next to a sparkling pool. Local tourists enjoy the peace and quiet away from congested highways and the stressful workplace.

Venue photography – CSIR International Convention Centre
CSIR ICC launches new exhibition hall with first-ever display of large vehicles.
The newly commissioned Exhibition Hall of the CSIR International Convention Centre (ICC) was used for the first time this month when it successfully hosted an exhibition of large coaches and related products alongside the South African Bus Operators Association (SABOA) annual congress.

A test to check that the exhibition hall and ramp was ready to accommodate such large vehicles was conducted in early February when a 13-metre luxury coach, the largest available, was driven up the ramp and into the exhibition hall. It proved to be a daunting experience for the ICC staff, professional team and the building contractors to watch the bus make its way up the ramp and into the building. As described by Bronwen Cadle, ICC Marketing and Sales Manager: “It is one thing to have the plans on paper but one is not totally at ease until you actually see the final product work the way it should.” The venture proved to be successful, and the Centre Management were satisfied that the hall and all supporting services were ready to host an exhibition of this nature and the opening exhibition was given to the SABOA congress.

The Convention Centre will shortly be taking occupation of all their new facilities. The Centre has an impressive new modern façade, the 1000 square metres carpeted, air-conditioned exhibition hall which comfortably accommodates 57 exhibition stands is now in use and the outdoor deck and other new modern facilities are almost complete and ready for use.

Vista Photographic Solutions was commissioned to capture the space of the new venue. The fact that large vehicles can fit in this hall was very important to show along with professional photographs of the rest of the exhibition and catering facilities.
